GitHub Student Developer Pack Approved but No Benefits Yet

Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Team,

I recently applied for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, and my application was approved on Feb 28, 2025. However, I have not yet received the email with my benefits, and they are not appearing in my account.

I have checked:
✅ My email inbox and spam folder
✅ The GitHub Education Benefits page
✅ That my email is verified in GitHub settings

Since it has been more than 5 days since my approval, I wanted to ask for assistance in resolving this. Could you please check the status of my benefits?

Hi @MohammedSarhan3,

When the benefits become available, the status label will turn purple and change to:

• Congrats! Your request for @MohammedSarhan3 was approved and your benefits are now available.

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

How to enable Copilot Pro for GitHub Education verified students/teachers?
Once you have been successfully approved as a verified student or educator, your academic benefits will become available within a few days. You will receive an email when your academic benefits are ready to be redeemed.

Once the benefits are applied, Copilot Pro can be claimed via the benefits page or this signup link.

Unfortunately I have been waiting for more than a month, mine got approved on 31st of January 2025 but still no benefits, and I can see only basic models in Copilot Pro. Also no purple PRO label appeared. What can be the issue and how to solve?

@gshukurov22 You do have a 🟣 Purple Pro on your profile and you do have a 🟣 purple "Approved" status when you visit your application status page.. To redeem Copilot, check out the FAQ
