@ronaldtse what is "DP"? Is it document type or new stage?

@mico "DP" is a stage for the old ISO process.

The old ISO process (as according to https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/rfc905/) is:

  1. Draft is marked as a DP, and there are DP iterations (first DP, second DP...)
  2. Draft is marked as a DIS, just like now
  3. Draft is approved as an IS, just like now

So DP technically is the combination of and WD, CD stages. Previously there was no FDIS stage.
