isilon_create_users.sh UID & GID using the original computing node #44
Comments
It should not or it does not? |
Hi David,
I mean the original isilon_create_users.sh is isilon and CDH computing node is new environments.
We now encounter the situation is CDH Computing is the original environment, is it possible to change a script to read the client / etc / passwd and / etc / group file to create isilon UID and GID?

It should not or it does not?
Also, what do you mean by "starting value"? Do you mean the next available UID/GID?

Hi Master, |
Oh! Interesting idea... We have been working on a sizable upgrade for this project, and that is kind of our primary focus right now. I can see how matching the IDs of a passwd/group file could be useful, though, so we can definitely look into adding this at some point. |
Hi David,
I am pleased to receive your reply, we can provide you passwd and group sample file, please refer to the attachment.

Hi master, |
I did this already use my script github.com:nickyruggs/hadoop.git |
Hi Master,
Whether this script can be changed in another way, UID and GID do not use the starting value,
Bring into existing computing node / etc / passwd and / etc / group
