Setting up Realm in Android It is way past ridiculous.

I have tried far too many ways to configure Realm for a simple Kotlin Android App. There are tons of suggestions, none of which lead to any workable projects. There are two build.gradle.kts files, which are different and that is ridiculous. Even the instructions in this git repository lead no place. In simple instructions, how do I add realm.
