Which model would you like to support?

https://huggingface.co/intfloat/e5-large-v2

What are the main advantages of this model?

It ranks a bit higher than the multilingual model on https://huggingface.co/spaces/mteb/leaderboard and is approx 1/2 the size

Hey @yudelevi

Sorry for the late response

We've introduced support of adding custom (read users) models to TextEmbedding and have become a little bit more picky when it comes to adding models to the fastembed core

Could you consider adding this model in the runtime? (All the features will still be available and you don't have to download the model each time if it has been saved to disk)

(an example from readme)
