Mailgun stops offering student-pack offer

I've contacted Mailgun regarding the student offer. Sign up was not working.
This is their response:

Due to increased abuse, Sinch Mailgun has made the decision to terminate the Github student plan as a service offering. Regular activity of existing student accounts will receive continued support unless suspicious activity is suspected.
 
If you're a student looking for a low cost alternative to the Github student plan, our free [plan](https://www.mailgun.com/pricing/) [1] offers many of the same features at zero cost to you.
 
We understand this is an inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding as we protect our customers from abuse.
