Since there seems to be an issue with a collaborator, I'd suggest to doublecheck with |

Welcome to the GitHub Community, @WaleedAlkaddah, we're happy you're here! You are more likely to get a useful response if you are posting your question in the applicable category and are explicit about what your project entails--giving a few more details might help someone give you a nudge in the right direction. I've gone ahead and moved it for you. Good luck! |

I truly appreciate your efforts in trying to help. Thank you for your time and support. Regarding this issue, it seems that some of the visibility options are not available because GitHub restricts access to private repository services for accounts that may be based in US sanctioned areas. As a result, I cannot switch the repository from public to private, even when creating the repository I can only create it as public, and paid services are also restricted. Again, I really appreciate your help. Best regards, |

Question
Body
I am currently unable to change the visibility of any of my repositories from public to private, and I am encountering the following error message:
"Visibility can't be private. We are unable to provide this feature for one of the collaborators or invitees in this repository."
I have verified that there are no collaborators or pending invitations for any of my repositories, and I am still experiencing this issue across all of my projects. I am using a GitHub Free Plan, which provides unlimited public and private repositories with unlimited collaborators, so I believe I should have access to this functionality.
Here are the steps I have already tried:
Checked for pending collaborators or invitations – none exist.
Attempted to change visibility using both the command line (gh repo edit --visibility private --accept-visibility-change-consequences).
Disabled any GitHub Pages and GitHub Actions associated with the repositories, in case they were causing restrictions.
I also attempted to change the visibility via the GitHub website, but the visibility change button is disabled.
Despite these attempts, I am still receiving the same error. Could you please assist in diagnosing the issue and provide a resolution?
Thank you for your help!
