I have been thinking about several ideas and I have looked if they were already commented, I think that as many here have already commented, PPSSPP should have a retouched redesign, I consider an idea, have rounded buttons, the section where you see the games folders are hidden and the games have some kind of shading around them as in the psp or similar details that make it modern.

I always appreciate design input, please draw a mockup of your ideas, if they're good and not too difficult I might implement some of them.

the idea I have thought of is to be able to alternate between several UIs among them something like this for remotes and that the user can toggle whether to have one or the other.

among them this

as pcsx2 have big picture mode and ui casual

with animations like the one where the rectangle stands out more and sometimes less something like this modern I think you get the idea.

may be we can use something like xml file for layouting, instead of hardcoding the layout on source code🤔 then again it will probably need a script too for event handler😅 unless we only allow existing hardcoded handlers to be used.
