Does flickMaxPages not apply?

I would like to increase the flickPower, but when I do, it suddenly is possible to jump over multiple items within the slider with just one flick motion. I thought that "flickMaxPages: 1" would prevent that, but it does not (at least the way it's used in this snippet). Am I missing something or do others face the same issue?

I tested your code and it worked. Opposite to your comment, it was very hard to go to the next slide because flickPower is very small.

For me, it behaves like "flickMaxPages" is not set. If you swipe fast enough, it will jump over items (even if the flickPower is e.g. 10).
Is there any way to prevent the items from being skipped?

flickMaxPages determines the max distance to move from the position where you released your mouse/finger. If the value is 1, the max distance is same with slider width(It doesn't care "slide" width), and the slider can move to "released position + slider width".

You have 2 slides + α in your slider, and therefore 2 slides can be skipped if swiping quickly. You can not prevent this behavior without updating core logic:

I was not able to confirm the behaviour you explained. With "flickMaxPages: 1" I can flick e.g. 10 pages even if I slide 3 slides and the slider width is "3 slides worth".

I hope the use case, to only be able to swipe as many slides as you are able to move with the arrow buttons, is something, that more people will be interested in.

based on their explanation the flickMaxPages goes the pixel with of your splide view port. so I just made it 0.3 and that prevented the multiple slide flick.

I do think flickMaxPages is kinda a misnomer, hope they rename it to "flickViewPortWidth". and actually and "flickMaxPages" which actually limits the number of slides it goes.

This didn't work for me whenperPage > 1 or if perPage is 1 and padding is set to some value. :(
