Not only do we need to secure the .com of our Enterprise name, but also every other TLD in order to secure our internet presence. Think squatters and impersonators. In addition to the dot COM we should also secure: .NET For a complete list of TLD we should also consider please review: |
Your point is well taken. Our intellectual property and trademarks must be protected at any cost. Should we also consider securing similar domain names like "FissBuzz" "FishBuzz" and "VizBuzz" to reduce the chance of a misunderstanding? |
Doesn't publishing this intent here encourage domain squatters to pre-purchase the domains? |
@wizzwizz4 legal assures me we can sue anyone with a name like ours quite extravagantly. We can even then turn around and sublicense similar domains whether or not we're using them for being similar to our trademark |

While leveraging new TLD names like "enterprises" "io" and "net" is certainly cute, I believe it lowers the credibility of an established business entity like our own.
Even if it means adding random letters it numbers, I'd like to propose we switch domains.
