We had some clients and stakeholders, as well as programmers and managers, and kings and presidents, in the last meeting to discuss this issue. We do want to allow export of FizzBuzz output to many different file formats, but we have to focus on only the most important ones.
We discussed between Microsoft Word's .docx format, the old .doc format, .odt, .txt, .rtf, .c, .h, .java, other formats like .dia for graphing, 3D based FizzBuzz results with blender for .blend, as well as other 3D formats such as .obj and Strata 3D, as well as audio-based exports (from a wide variety of cultures and langauges) in .ogg and .mp3, Some more obscure ones like .mod, as well as one thousand forty seven other formats.
In the end, we settled on initially allowing export in the form of the pre-OSX Macintosh Resource Fork. I cannot fully articulate the reason since the meeting lasted all day and we talked about so much, but apparently that was the conclusion we came to, so it must have been a good one. It probably is more easily convertible to the other formats.
.docx support will have to come much later once we have collected every file format in the universe and placed them on a timeline. Then we will have a better idea of when that feature will be available. My guess is that it will be somewhere between the file format Borderlands 2 uses for characters (we have had many requests for FizzBuzz compliant Mayas) and the recipe format used in old Williams Sonoma cooking CDs.
please
