Pricing for custom solutions?

Hi we're coming from <a huge corporation> and we'd like to buy a license for your product. While the open source edition work very well, we have a lot of money on our hands. So we'd like to pay a lot of money for the exact same thing (but please brand it as commercial, else HR will not approve it), but with 24/7 customer support because we can't read the documentation and figure it out ourselves.

I don't see an open source license in this repository, and am therefore worried about possible lawsuits should I use the code without prior written permission. Perhaps it's something we should add? Does anyone know whether the original author would be willing to license this under MIT, GPL, etc?

A lawyer has been assigned to decide the licensing issue. MIT License has been ruled out, at least.

My team will be dedicated engineers for support, considering that you are paying customers. I haven't asked them yet, but I'm sure they'll agree - they know all about SQL and that sort of thing.
